exploring Whidbey for land a couple of years ago,I discovered that it
must be the most online island in the nation. Thereare resources for
every need and I used many of them to find our land.Here's some I find
useful.
Island County Government Pages - very helpful no nonsense people in every department I've contacted. Whidbey Institute - nice people with lofty goals. Clinton Ferry Cams - check before you leave for the mainland. Mukilteo Ferry Cam - beat the crowds to the ferry back to the island. Whidbey Island Bank - vacant land loans. Windermere Properties - talk to David McClellan in the Freeland office. Whidbey.net - great all around resource for the island. Check out the visitors guide. Clinton Weather - check for sun, rain or fog. Plaidnet.com - Online Yellow Pages for Island County, Anacortes and the San Juan Islands.
